This is a right little knockout artist – four blasters, plus a neut and
decent tank. And one drone – seems
hardly worth getting it out of the bay for what it delivers, but every little
helps, I guess.
On the button or in a fleet, if you can get this on top of other
frigates or even other destroyers, or even cruisers, it packs a decent punch,
features a neut and can last the distance.
If you’re using this exclusively in plexes, you can swap out the MWD for
a 1MN Afterburner II and it still all fits comfortably, giving you 2m 10s of
cap and a top speed of 880m/s.
But it doesn’t get into a novice plex. Only small plexes and above. So you will be facing other Tech II frigates, destroyers and
the like.
It also costs 40m ISK.
That’s three times more expensive than an AB / blaster fitted Algos,
which does more damage and has more EHP.
So if you’re looking for a plexing button-sitter, the Algos is much
better value and has a wider engagement profile, even if it is a bit slower. In a really quick fight, the neut does
help, but the Algos’ drones will still be attacking you even if the Algos
itself is incapacitated.
The Enyo features a 50% reduction in MWD signature radius penalty, which
tends to indicate what this ship is best at – attacking bigger ships than
frigates, fast. So I would suggest
this monster is reserved for roaming fleets looking for dessies and cruisers.
However, if you ARE going to sit on the button, or are facing something
that you are pretty confident is going to be a short-range AB and ideally
blaster fit – and do have money to burn - give this a spin…

This is a bigger,
harder version of the classic Incursus 7k scramkite boat. It’s tougher, significantly more
damagier, albeit a bit slower – but that doesn’t massively matter as you’ll
mainly be using this against destroyers in small plexes. Get at 7km range, orbit, put everything
on. Job done.
The rails with Fed
Navy Antimatter S have an optimal of 11.1km, so whilst I generally prefer
Antimatter over Javelin S, you might want to try this with Jav. Gives you an optimal of about 5.5km, a
falloff of another 7.5km and a bit more tracking, in exchange for less topline
DPS. Personally I’d just stick with
Antimatter but, as always, your mileage may vary.
The Superscram Enyo
is, I’m afraid, three times more expensive than the incursus 7km scramkite, but
quality doesn’t come cheap.

Cost: 40.4m ISK
This really shouldn’t work, but it does. Shield tanked, with Electron IIs, the Enyo transforms itself into a slower, much tankier, harder hitting version of the derp-o-blaster Atron. That 10k tank allied to 350+ DPS makes this a formidable assault frigate.
Solo, it can take on AB brawler frigates and Destroyers. But where it really, really shines is in packs - hunting bigger pray. A gang of these make quick, light work of seeing off cruisers and other bigger prey. If ‘big game hunting’ is the objective, then switch to Null and get orbiting at 500m.
