If you’ve got an enemy system vulnerable, then the next step is to bash
the infrastructure hub and ‘flip’ the system. A normal PvP ship isn’t really suited for the job – you need
something with very high DPS to get it done as quickly as possible, plus you
don’t need to worry about tackle mods:
the infrastructure hub isn’t going to fly off.
On Gallente boats, pumping up the DPS with magstabs and drone damage
amps leaves you with little tank in the low slots, so the ideal fitting approach is to go for
maximum shields in the mids plus an afterburner without compromising DPS. Given how long it takes to bash an
I-Hub, it is also important that you are either cap stable or have a very long
cap life – there’s no point running out in a couple of minutes.
So what follows are five suggested fits depending on your budget, skills
and situation.

It delivers over 1500DPS up close, which is fine as you’ll be sitting
right on top of the i-Hub with those eight battleship-sized Neutron IIs firing
away, plus a small pestering complement of Hobgoblin IIs bringing almost 100DPS
of their own to the party.
There are battleships that can deliver this kind of damage, but at twice
the cost or more. For 130m ISK,
this glassy cannon represents superb DPS value for money. You’ve also got to haul a hub-bashing
ship into system whilst avoiding enemy frigates. This aligns much faster than an equivalent Dominix or
Megathron. It’s nowhere near as
tanky as a full-on battleship, so once the attack is under way, align it to a
safe spot or a celestial ready to warp off.
It’s fitted with an AB rather than MWD, given that you’ll be sitting
still most of the time. If you’re
struggling with CPU to make it all fit, meta down the Large Shield Extender II
to a Large FS-9 Regolith Shield Induction mod instead. Or train skillbooks.

It’s the most expensive option, doesn’t have quite the DPS of the Talos

far the tankiest ship, and range versatile by packing a lot of different drones
to take out any marauding attackers. It costs 240m ISK, though, so fly safe....
